On May 26th, 1923, the 24 Hours of Le Mans - the world's most grueling and glamorous World Endurance Championship race - debuted, marking the beginning of a legend. After fifty years of waiting, Ferrari finally returned to the top class of the race with the 499P, a hypercar designed to leave the past behind and pave the way for the future. Drawing on Ferrari's rich sporting tradition and incorporating cutting-edge innovation, this development project resulted in a hybrid powertrain that complies with the technical regulations and requirements of the Le Mans Hypercar class. With a maximum power output of 670 HP and a minimum weight of 1,030 kilos, the four-wheel drive prototype is a testament to Ferrari's commitment to endurance racing.
